The scholarship named after Maria Cristina Bergesio is intended for a student of any origin or nationality, to attend the second or third year of the goldsmithing course, or the second year of the jewellery design course.
The call will be repeated in the same way for the following years, until revoked. Deadline: June, 30.
Requirements for applying for the scholarship.
To access the selection process, candidates must send a reasoned request to the school secretariat.
The scholarship includes free lessons (no fees’ payment), the selected student will pay the fee to cover the insurance and administration expenses (total amount 600,00 euros). The student is required to purchase the tools and material for his/her personal use, the tools list will be provided together with the admission documents.
Applicants must attach to the request a letter of motivation from which it should be clear their interest in a course of study characterized by contemporary research in the field of goldsmithing.
The assignee of the scholarship will work in close contact with the teacher of the history of contemporary jewellery and must produce by the end of the school year a thesis that illustrates and summarizes the project to which he/ she worked during the course.
If possible, the thesis will be published on the school’s page and will become study material for students of the following years.
