Since 2017, LAO has been offering the opportunity to use its laboratories through a ‘COWORKING’ formula.
The aim is to provide interested individuals with the opportunity to have an independent workstation without immediately facing the costs and challenges of setting up their own laboratory.
Participants in the project have access to a complete laboratory, the ability to seek advice from instructors, and access to materials from the school warehouse without additional charges.
Booking of the workstation can be renewed/cancelled on a month-to-month basis with a simple email communication.

Participants have access to extensive collective equipment for metalworking.
Collective equipment available to users:
Each station has a goldsmith’s drill (excluding the handpiece: each participant must have a personal one) and a welding torch (gas + compressed air) every two stations. Other stations for welding/cooking and melting are available in a specially equipped area.
Participants must provide tools for personal use: files, bow and blades, compasses, calipers, pliers, welding material, cutters and bits, emery paper, and everything deemed necessary for their work.
Access times: from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 12.45 and from 14.00 to 17.45.
The hours booked and not used for any of the formulas listed cannot be recovered, except for serious personal or health reasons.

Permanent workstation for full time (35 hours per week)
Monthly cost: 250 euros + VAT
Shared workstation for a reduced number of hours (7-14-21 per week).
