Precious gems set on desired objects
The best masters of the sophisticated technique of stone-setting are found in Italy, and especially in Tuscany. The students work on semi-finished pieces in silver or other alloys, with high-quality synthetic and natural stones of various shapes.
Every exercise concentrates on learning techniques of setting, and at the end of the annual course the students will be able to produce works which are complex and technically very advanced.
The sophisticated technique of gem setting
The courses include many practical lesson in the workshop and a module of Gemmology.
For those who cannot attend for a whole year, three- and six-month courses are offered.
Short and intensive courses are organized in summer every year and other courses are offered in the “Combined Courses” section.
The students work on semi-finished pieces in silver or other alloys, with high-quality synthetic and natural stones of various shapes. All the material used is included in the school fees, and all the objects produced remain the property of the students, who can take them away at the end of the course.
At the end of the one-year course the students will be able to carry out any type of setting.
