Fired painting on metal

The ancient technique of melted vitreous paste on jewellery has had great masters and great schools, however it is also employed successfully in contemporary goldsmithery.

The students have a very well-equipped workshop, and do exercises on semi-finished products in silver or other metals, included in the course fees, or they can enamel their own jewellery made in other courses.

All the objects enamelled remain the property of the students, who can take them away at the end of the course, leaving one at the school for purely promotional use

THE ENAMELLING COURSES LAST 25OR 75HOURS

The courses are repeated during the year, and can be combined with other courses (see Combined Courses).

Dry enamelling, champlevé technique, plique a jour enamelling and Cloisonné are some of the techniques taught in the courses.
