Aiming towards perfect combination of contemporary design and traditional techniques, Katarina Cudic’s jewellery is balanced between fine art and master craft. Expressively underlined with strong identity, Katarina’s designs are much more than plain décor. Neoteric silver patina formations enriched with golden details and gemstones bliss with love of unique handcrafting.
Katarina was taught jewellery making at her family workshop, with focus on traditional techniques rather than industrial technologies. She has further mastered her skills at prestigious Le Arti Orafe College in Florence.
Katarina, also an art historian, is a devoted explorer of Serbian medieval jewellery, which she finds highly inspiring. She is also a dedicated follower of traditional techniques of the old Italian master craftsmen.
Katarina has been numerously awarded for her work, both locally and internationally. She is an active member of ULUPUDS (The Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia) and AGC (International Contemporary Jewellers’ Association).
