We are glad to announces the fourth edition of "Lucca Preziosa", and the second edition of Lucca Preziosa Young, the collateral exhibition of young goldsmith/artists selected for their individual research and for the originality of their creations.

Schedule for Lucca Preziosa 2009

The exhibition, together with the second edition of "Lucca Preziosa Young", will be showed in Lucca from the 23rd of April to the 17th of May, 2009, in the fantastic venue of Villa Bottini.

Aims
The aims is to contribute to the diffusion of what is new in the research jewellery, what the new generation of goldsmiths/designers/artists is “boiling in the pot”….

The selection of the 72 participants graduated in the most prestigious schools and Academies was handled by an international jury composed by Graziano Visintin, Stefano Marchetti, Slawomir Fijalkowski, Petra Marin, Olga Zobel-Biro, Michèle Heuzé, Maurizio Stagni, Mari Ishikawa, Giò Carbone.

The 8 selected participants are: Daniel Di Caprio. Estela Vilanova Saez, Lisa Grassivaro, Nora Rochel, Pia Pasalk, Sharon Massey, Taisuke Nakada, Tamsin Leighton-Boyce.

We also had 8 special mention for the following artists:
Jane Millard, Chiara Antonietti, E. David Tusheeta, Melissa Cameron, Carole Deltenre, Julia Keyte, Lisa Juen, Alidra André de la Porte
